Katrine Øgaard Jensen is a writer and translator. She is the recipient of several fellowships and awards, most recently the 2018 National Translation Award in Poetry for her translation of Ursula Andkjær Olsen’s book-length poem Third-Millennium Heart (Action Books/Broken Dimanche Press, 2017), as well as a Peter Taylor Fellowship from The Kenyon Review Writers Workshop in 2018. A founding editor of the journal EuropeNow at Columbia University, she previously served as editor in chief of the Columbia Journal and blog editor of Asymptote and Words Without Borders. Her work has appeared in the Washington Square Review, the Denver Quarterly, Arc Poetry Magazine, World Literature Today, and elsewhere.
