Mark is a Scottish writer and translator who lives in Denmark with his wife and two sons. Became a Danish citizen in 2019. Widely published. Runner-up Wigtown Poetry Prize 2021 – one of the UK's best established poetry prizes.

Mark Gallacher is a Scottish writer and translator who lives in Denmark with his wife and two sons. He has been shortlisted twice for the Fish Short Story Prize and his stories have been published in literary magazines and twice in New Writing Scotland, an anthology that publishes the best of new writing by emerging and established Scottish writers.Poetry published in literary magazines in the UK and USA, including in Acumen, Monday Night, Magma, Orbis.
